The Woodcut Society that published this print included a folder with Landacre’s comments: “The subject of this present engraving, ‘Laguna Cove’, is a favorite spot near Laguna Beach, California. One summer night the moon seemed to illuminate this particular scene and create a pattern of light and shadows that had to be recorded.”
