Catherine Burns Fine Art

Catherine Burns has been a dealer of fine prints and drawings for over 40 years. She launched her business after serving as Curator of Collections and Adjunct Professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst Museum, and later as Curator of the Washington University Museum of Art, St. Louis. Her inventory of museum-quality prints reflects her strong interest in American and French art, German Expressionism, and British Modernism.

Catherine Burns was a founding member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association and regularly exhibits at the New York Print Fair and other national and international art fairs. She serves an active group of clients worldwide, including private collectors, museums, and other fine print dealers.

In past years, her firm published illustrated catalogues and now maintains a website of current inventory focused on American and European works. Our gallery is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and Catherine is proud to work with collectors worldwide.  The website indicates only a portion of our extensive inventory. Terms of Sale

The authenticity of all works is guaranteed. Works of art can be sent to clients sending prepayment, which will be fully refunded if not satisfied, or they can be sent on approval to clients known to us or clients supplying references. We accept personal checks and money orders in US dollars and drawn on a US bank. Paypal or credit cards may be used for an additional charge.

Packages are shipped by Fedex and are insured for the full value. The customary charge for shipment of matted prints is $45. California residents must add state tax.

Your order will be confirmed within 1-2 business days, and will be shipped upon receipt of payment.
