The Belgian artist Evenepoel worked in Paris, and was influenced by such artists as Whistler and Toulouse-Lautrec.  His preferred subjects were figures or Parisian scenes, often rendered in vivid colors. His career was cut short by his death from typhus at age 27.  His monograph was written by Francis Hyslop,  Henri Evenepoel: Belgian Painter in Paris, 1892-1899.
